Chelsea is the Chief of Staff at UNICEF USA. Chelsea provides strategic support to the President & CEO, manages the National Board of Directors and works closely with key partners and staff across the organization to activate and engage Americans around UNICEF USA’s mission – to raise the vital financial, political and public support necessary to enable UNICEF to provide a brighter future for the world’s children. Chelsea oversees communications and operations for the President’s Office, and co-leads aspects of the Strategic Plan, which serves as the organizational roadmap to raise $1B and meet the growing humanitarian needs of children worldwide. Based on her contributions, Chelsea has been named to Fortune's Most Powerful Next Gen.
Leading up to her current role, Chelsea was a Development Senior Office, where she stewarded major donors and influencers, raising more than $1M annually for UNICEF programs by facilitating fulfilling philanthropic experiences. Chelsea also supported the Founder of UNICEF’s Next Generation by leading the development of Next Gen’s membership across the U.S., engaging young professionals in global philanthropy and UNICEF’s lifesaving work. Chelsea has traveled extensively with UNICEF, leading partner field visits to Nepal, Mozambique, Ethiopia, India, South Sudan, South Africa, Jamaica, Guatemala and Haiti.
Before joining the UNICEF family, Chelsea worked in Paris, France, leading English classes and tutorial sessions for working professionals in the local Parisian community. She pursued academic studies in Geneva, Switzerland through the SIT Institute, and graduated from Bucknell University with degrees in International Relations and French. She played NCAA Division I lacrosse and served as the University Student-Athlete Representative.
