Sammantha (last name unpronounceable by humans) was born in Shi'Kahr on Vulcan at the Science Academy to a human mother and a Vulcan father on November 12, 2231. Her mother was a teacher named Amanda and her father was an Ambassador to the Federation named Sarek. When Sammantha began school at the age of four, the taunting began. The other children would tease her and attack her because of her human side.

 

When she was seven, she came home after a fight and was scolded by her father. Sarek told her that he would be very disappointed if she did not pass the kahs wan, a test of maturity that all Vulcan children must do. So, Sammantha set out on her own a month before she was supposed to, to take the test. A le matya, a large cat-like creature with poisonous teeth and claws, attacked her but I-Chaya, her pet sehlat was there and defended her, and a month later she passed the test.

 

Sammantha is currently planning to join Star Fleet once she turns eighteen.
