Rosie Siman

Position(s):

Speaker

Rosie Siman joined Cake in September 2009 as a Social Marketing Strategist in the New York City office. She regularly works with Motorola and The Prince’s Rainforests Project to manage their social media presence and has a passion for developing non-traditional ways to engage brands with their fans.

Rosie comes from the world of entertainment branding and has worked with iconic brands such as Samsung, Target, Wrigley, Orbit and Altoids. She believes that brands can create and curate culture, and connect to people in ways that create value for both.

As a Social Marketing Strategist at Cake, Rosie helped Motorola with the digital launch of both the CLIQ and the DROID headsets. She manages day-to-day activity for Motorola’s social media presences, advising on digital and social strategy. When digital and “real world” collide, she helps plan, manage and execute influencer events and seeding.

When she’s not working on Motorola, you may find Rosie developing blogger outreach campaigns or helping brands maximize existing consumer relations through digital activation. She is an active member in Girls In Tech, NY Tech, Music + Tech and PIE (Partners in Entertainment) Club. Her Twitter feed, @rosiesiman, showcases her knowledge on emerging media technologies and her passion for pop culture. You can also find her on Facebook, Tumblr, Foursquare, LinkedIn, Flickr, Delicious and probably any other social media platform that comes to mind.

Rosie is a self-proclaimed internet junkie and has a soft spot for red wine, flowered headbands and cupcakes. She graduated from The University of Georgia after studying New Media, Music Business and Public Relations.
