Stop Pet Overpopulation Together (SPOT) Globally
Like most ten year olds, Ayna loved animals so it hurt her to see that many were completely uncared for. To rectify this she did what any person her age would, “I made posters to put around my neighborhood and asked for donations to neighborhood stores.” Unlike most ten year olds however, Ayna took immediate action when she realized that her efforts were not producing the change she hoped for. The direct result is “SPOT Globally,” an organization dedicated to ensuring quality of life for the planet’s animals. Though it has only been around for two years, “SPOT Globally” has already made an impact involving hundreds of people from all over the world. In addition to saving 150 animals’ lives, Ayna and her organization have also protected people from the hazardous health conditions that occur when untreated strays run rampant. Illness such as rabies and Lyme Disease and insect infestations like ticks and maggots have all been curbed due to her efforts. Ayna knows that she can’t reach every single animal in need, but by providing medications, educational pamphlets, sterilization surgeries, and raising funds for facility expansions, she hopes to evoke the spirit in others. Look for her upcoming topical documentary and save a living being! Go to www.spotglobally.org for more.
