Position(s):

Communications & Program Coordinator, We Are Family Foundation

A recent graduate of the University of Georgia, Sarah Sattin earned dual degrees in Advertising and Spanish. She spent her last semester of college studying Spanish in Costa Rica and working as a volunteer bilingual guide in the Museo de los Niños (The Children’s Museum) in downtown San José. Sarah has completed two internships, the first of which was with the Atlanta account planning company, BrandVenture, where she concentrated on the strategy and development of consumer perception for companies such as Emory Healthcare and Great Wraps. She also interned with Allied Advertising in Atlanta, doing public relations and promotions for major motion picture production companies, including Universal Pictures, 20th Century Fox, and Focus Features. Sarah worked for her university as a Certified Spanish and ESL (English as a Second Language) tutor for two years. She coached students studying Spanish and engaged foreign students in conversation in order to increase their proficiency of the English language and culture. For the past 12 years, Sarah has been involved with the Atlanta Workshop Players, a performing arts group that provides theater and on-camera training for children and teenagers in a supportive, non-competitive atmosphere. She began as a student and camper before transitioning into a counselor, staff member, and performer.
