Robert Galinsky has delivered and designed groundbreaking programs for thousands of people in the corporate and the academic worlds across the United States and internationally, as Founder and President of "BOOM: Breaking Out of Monotony", a New York City-based consulting and training company. Robert is much sought after for his unique and acclaimed work as a highly engaging and animated facilitator. His work has taken him throughout the U.S., as well as to South America and the U.K.
Robert has designed and facilitated poetry/film/theater based conflict resolution programs for the Yale University Medical School, Lehman College, The Staten Island Teachers College, The Riverdale Country School and over 25 schools in the New York City Public School System. In the corporate arena his work has taken him to such companies as Mohegan Sun, Citibank, Mack Trucks, and Game Trust. Through the We Are Family Foundation, Robert has developed the poetry portion of "Mattie’s Poetry Slam" and continues to work with children, most recently at the Children's Hospital of New York-Presbyterian.
He is the former Director of Media and Technology at Arts International Inc., a non-profit arts re-granting organization dedicated to international culture and arts exchange. As part of his work with Arts International, Robert facilitated and executive-produced productions with over fifty arts companies internationally as well as directing and developing Arts International's state of the art in-house performance studio and remote recording facilities.
From 1995-2000, Robert was Co-founder and Executive Producer of Pseudo Programs Inc., the first-ever online TV network, where he managed the staffing and production for over 4000 hours of broadband streaming, with a diverse staff of over 100 independent producers and content creators. Robert helmed the production, marketing, and sales divisions at Pseudo Programs during its “startup” phase and created key partnerships with clients such as IBM, NASA, Snapple, HBO Films, Fox Television, and The New York State Council on the Arts, among others.
Robert is the President of the 656 East 12th Street Tenant's Association and serves on the board of the Vamos a Sembrar Community Garden in the Lower East Side of Manhattan, part of the New York City’s Green Thumb movement.
