Rick Fernandes is an award-winning director, producer and editor. His accomplishments include an Emmy for Directing, as well as four consecutive national Emmy nominations for Single Camera Editing and two Emmy nominations for producing.

Rick began his career as an editor, where his list of credits range from the highly acclaimed PBS documentary Kristallnacht to the Emmy Award-winning children's series Reading Rainbow.

Most recently, Rick completed work on E!’s Live Countdown to the Oscars Red Carpet and Disney Channel's Johnny & the Sprites. Rick's other experience includes working on situation comedies, pre-school series and reality programming, including directing and producing Nickelodeon’s Taina, Disney’s Bear in the Big Blue House and Animal Planet’s Pet Psychic.
