Closing Ceremonies for the 2008 Just Peace Summit

On Friday, April 4, the 2008 Just Peace Summit ended with a special ceremony to recognize the efforts of the Global Teen Leaders and send them “forthward” in their peace efforts for the yearlong Three Dot Dash initiative and throughout the rest of their lives.

The Summit was an incredibly powerful experience, beyond words and even imagination. Over the course of the week, the GTLs and all those involved in Three Dot Dash – the Team, Guardians, Speakers, Volunteers, Mentors, Coalition Partners, Sponsor Partners – became a worldwide family, that will work as a unified force to promote a more peaceful society. And although the 2008 Just Peace Summit has come and passed, the Three Dot Dash initiative has only just begun…
