Building awareness of climate change and carbon emissions

After experiencing a flash flood in his hometown, David began educating himself about the dangers of climate change and pollution. Now his goal is to spread the vital message of how climate change is affecting the earth and how each person can help prevent further damage. Through his work, David has acquired a wind-turbine and eco-friendly computer for his school, persuaded his school's administration to begin a recycling program, and encouraged the Environment Secretary to include more climate change content in the curriculum. He is currently in the process of obtaining solar panels for his school. Speaking at events or via various forms of media, he has educated and inspired thousands of young people and adults to make climate change a priority and convinced many to perform 10 simple steps to reduce their carbon footprints. David wants to expand his reach and continue using his voice and conviction to educate others about environmental issues.
