Michael Levine is the Executive Director of the Joan Ganz Cooney Center for Children's Media at Sesame Workshop, where he oversees educational initiatives to promote young people’s global literacy through the harnessing of new media. Levine is also a Senior Fellow Associate at Asia Society, where he develops initiatives to expand children's knowledge of other world regions, languages and cultures. He writes and speaks frequently about education and children’s issues for policy and media audiences. Working Mother magazine chose Levine as one of America’s 25 most influential men in shaping family policy.
