Director-Choreographer Lynne Taylor-Corbett has been nominated for two Tony Awards and a Drama Desk award for "SWING!" on Broadway, and a Lucille Lortel award for WANDA'S WORLD off-Broadway. She has directed numerous shows in New York and regional theatre including FLIGHT OF THE LAWNCHAIR MAN, OPAL, TINTYPES and the legendary 20th CENTURY POP at the Rainbow and Stars featuring Maryanne Faithful, Mary Clayton and Darlene Love. Her choreography can be seen in the feature films FOOTLOOSE, MY BLUE HEAVEN and BEWITCHED. She has also created works for American Ballet Theatre, the New York City Ballet and Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre among others. Her proudest achievement, however, is her son, Shaun Taylor-Corbett, who is currently performing in IN THE HEIGHTS.
