David Linton is Professor of Communication Arts at Marymount Manhattan College where he has taught for 23 years. Prior to this position he was a public high school teacher. He teaches courses in communication theory and history, film, interpersonal communication, and other aspects of media studies. His research has been wide ranging including the history of the book, film adaptations of Shakespeare's plays, media theory and public speaking.
