Betsy has recently retired after working for 14 years in education at West School in Long Beach, N.Y. While there, she taught kindergarten, 1st grade, and 5th grade and ultimately, served as the school’s assistant principal. Her favorite subjects to teach were Language Arts and Social Studies.

Betsy was born and raised in New York. She graduated from the University of Maryland and received her Masters Degree in Education from Hofstra University and her Administrative Degree from C.W. Post. She is the proud parent of two – Maris and Greg – with her husband of 30 years, Raymond.
