“I-Peace”

Frida's project, “I-Peace” is based on her belief that most conflict and discrimination stem from focusing on differences rather than on similarities. To overcome this obstacle, she initiates dialogue through peace video conferences in order to demonstrate that people are more alike than unalike. Students from all over the globe take part in these conferences, discussing global issues and ideas for peace. Schools in Mexico City, Rishon le Tzion, Israel and Philadelphia have replicated her video conference program. Frida has interviewed and moderated discussions among various influential leaders, and has shared her videos with students, teachers, the children's museum of Mexico City (Museo del Niño-Papalote) and thousands of YouTube viewers. Frida is currently developing an "idea summit," which will bring together various students to discuss and learn from important peace leaders.
