Journeys for Peace
Journeys for Peace with its objective to promote peace and understanding, tolerance and non-violence among children of different nations through educational and artistic activities address the need to awaken in the minds of children the various conditions for peace, which are also applicable to any facet in life. Children at the Foundation enjoy such activities as puppets, art workshops, theater productions, and children's choirs. The mini-parliaments, one of the Foundation's signature activities, often spark debate about such issues as pacific coexistence and diversity, the value and influence of the spoken word, the rights and responsibilities of children, the responsibilities of the media, and the consequences of ignorance.
